At Corvin Performance Horses we combine integrity and dedication with a strong work ethic and attitude to help our clients and horses succeed in the practice and show pen. We specialize in training and showing horses in Cutting.
We work with horses from start to finish. Our program focuses on limited age event horses and preparing them and their owners for the show pen.
At Corvin Performance Horses we take pride in the work we put into young horses giving them a strong foundation and training them in a way each horse can succeed. We not only believe in the horses individual talents but we also know the care and consistency a Horses gets while being trained and care for matters to its overall performance.
About Zeb Corvin
Born and raised in New Mexico, Zeb started his career in the horse world on his family’s ranch riding, roping and breaking horses. He worked with horse trainers and professionals as a young man to develop a true understanding of how to train horses.
Zeb has made himself extremely well-rounded in the horse world by having experience in so many disciplines, but also has the educational experience to back it. Zeb attended West Texas A&M University and worked with a few well-known and respected individuals in the industry who shared their knowledge including professors, judges, breeders and other trainers.
Despite Zeb not growing up in the show horse world, with hard work and dedication, Zeb was able to use the guidance he had received from others and his natural ability to establish Corvin Performance Horses in 2003. Since then, Zeb has built a successful business by helping others succeed, which is one of his largest passions.
Zeb began his showing career with the National Reined Cow Horse Association and started showing at the world level with NRCHA in 2006 and competed in his first Snaffle Bit Futurity in 2007. Throughout Zeb’s time training and competing in the NRCHA, he trained several national champions. Zeb then homed in on the skills he had developed to train cutting horses, which is the discipline he has primarily trained and shown in for the last several years. Zeb loves a cow horse, but his drive and passion for the
cutting industry is what pushes him to succeed.
The Bible says that “iron sharpens iron” and Zeb stays sharp and keeps his business moving forward by always seeking ways grow and improve his training and business knowledge through competing, helping at shows and working with other trainers and business professionals. Zeb has competed and won in numerous NCHA, AQHA, NRHA, and NRCHA events and has a long list of awards and earnings in cutting, reining and cow horse disciplines.
Zeb contributes his success to God, who has blessed him with great customers and great horses. Zeb’s family also plays a significant part in his success. His wife, Melissa, daughter McKenzie and son Zachary, all play a vital part in Zeb Corvin Performance Horses.
Zeb’s mission is for everyone in the horse industry to see how special cutting horses are. It takes a special horse with heart and talent, and Zeb wants to help the horses he trains to display their ability. Zeb’s mission for his clients is to enjoy their horse and have an unforgettable experience on the horses that he trains for them.
